A letter to the editor written by Jared Rhoads appeared in the August 6, 2006 Sunday edition of the Boston Globe (see In the Media). The letter responds to a July 31 op-ed by Massachusetts Senator John F. Kerry.

Over the summer of 2005, the Boston group raised funds for The Lucidicus Project by collecting
donations of used books and then selling them online through channels such as Amazon.com. For
2006, the Boston group will test to see how much interest there is among medical students to learn about ideas in philosophy and economics.
