On Tuesday, March 16th, citizens nationwide will demonstrate against the House Democrats' attempt to pass the highly flawed Senate health reform bill. Currently, there are not enough votes in the House to pass the measure, but Speaker Pelosi is working feverishly to tip the scales and salvage reform for the sake of reform.
At this point, it is not known when a vote might be called, but leaders all around are signaling that this may be the final week of deliberation.
In Massachusetts, citizens will be gathering at the various offices of Congressional representatives between the hours of 8am-10am and 4pm-6pm. If you are interested, you can confirm your participation online. Do not let the recent rainy conditions discourage you; as of this writing, Tuesday is forecasted to be partly cloudy with a high of 50 degrees.
If you cannot participate in person, consider calling your representative. Tell him or her what you think of the administration's push for increased government control of healthcare.

The Lucidicus Project will participate in the morning demonstration on Tuesday at Rep. Ed Markey's 7th District office in Medford. It is a prime location. Please join us. If you are not sure where to go, see the photos below for a look at the intersection of High Street and Forest Street in Medford. Free, non-metered parking is available along Forest Street. History buffs will enjoy the fact that this road lies along the ride of Paul Revere.

UPDATE! Despite a small turnout, the response to our grassroots demonstration outside Rep. Ed Markey's Medford office this morning (8am-10am) was very positive. The number and variety of drivers offering honks, thumbs up, and smiles was energizing and well worth the time and effort. Local Tea Party activist Christen Varley called into WTKK 96.9 from Rep. Barney Frank's home office and told our story to radio host Michael Graham, who was eager and willing to help spread the word. Many thanks to all who showed up not only in Medford but at all the other locations across the state.
